Marie STERVINOU, a graduate of Master II in private international and comparative law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, worked for five years as a legal consultant in private international law and comparative law at CRIDON Lyon (Center for Notarial Research, Information, and Documentation).

This initial experience in the notarial profession enabled her to acquire a solid knowledge of family property law in an international context.

She was admitted to the Lyon Bar in 2026.

Marie STERVINOU has taught at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University and Artois University. She has also provided training in private international law to notaries within the jurisdiction of CRIDON Lyon.

Maître STERVINOU's firm mainly deals with family law and family property law in both national and international contexts.

Based in Lyon, the firm can operate throughout France.

She works in both French and English.

Fees

The issue of fees is addressed with complete transparency, in accordance with Article 11.2 of the National Internal Regulations governing the legal profession.

A written fee agreement is systematically drawn up to ensure clarity and predictability.

Fees may be set:

based on time spent, according to an hourly rate agreed in advance;
on a flat-rate basis, when the nature of the case allows the overall cost to be assessed.

In certain cases, a success fee may also be agreed.

The fees will not cover disbursements, costs and expenses, which are invoiced by external parties, and in particular bailiffs, solicitors or experts or travel expenses.

The first consultation is billed at €100 excluding VAT.

If you are eligible, you may be entitled to full or partial legal aid (aide juridictionnelle). You may also request your legal protection guarantee, which may cover all or part of the fees.

In accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute with a lawyer, you have the option of referring the matter to the consumer ombudsman for the legal profession, whose contact details are as follows:
